My name is Mendel Agterberg. I am a Dutch artist living on the Swedish West coast, painting with gouache and watercolour. I love exploring the countryside and coast, painting whenever the elements are favourable.My main subjects are the Swedish coast, nature, and the organic chaos of my local surroundings like the farms, industry, and the people living here. My sketchbook is always nearby, and I love to draw in cosy cafés with good coffee with whatever I bring with me.
